1. Data Collection & Processing
At FakeChats, we believe in privacy by design. All mockups, text conversations, and user-generated screenshots are created and processed locally in your browser. We do not transmit, upload, or store your chat configurations on our servers.
2. Account & Authentication
When you create an account, we use Firebase Authentication (provided by Google) to securely store your email and password hash, or handle Google Single Sign-On. This data is used solely to authenticate your identity, secure your subscription, and check your premium status.
3. Payment Processing
All transaction details and billing info are handled securely via Dodo Payments. We do not store credit card details on our systems. We only receive verification of payment success (via webhook) to upgrade your account to Pro status in our Firestore database.
4. Cookies and Local Storage
We use localStorage to cache your dark mode preference and Pro status to deliver a fast user experience. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking scripts.
